The Retirement Complication

Of those aged 65: 1% retire wealthy, 58% retire financially dependent and 5% are still working.

As Baby Boomers enter “retirement age”, a term now used ironically, they are faced with a number of new challenges that can cause them to re-assess their future. These complications can be difficult to deal with and may require additional insurance and financial planning.

1) Decreased Retirement Funds: After the crash of the stock and housing markets, many future retirees lost their retirement nest-egg and find themselves unable to get it back. This means that they will have to work longer than originally intended and invest their remaining funds more wisely.
